Hi guys,

First German JRSC'ed GSR needs your help concerning the Cartech settings. Usually I called Jim but I do not dare now because of the well known situation.
Apart from that I am sure that I will get advice here too. [img]smile.gif[/img]
OK, my setup is a JRSC'ed GSR @ 7.2-7.5 psi,
290cc injectors and the Cartech 2025 without the restrictor.
According to Jim I would need to set the static fp to 40-42 psi. The issue here is that the idle fp is the same (I cannot set it lower than that) When I disconnect the vac hose from the stock fpr it goes up to about 50 psi.
Well, I tried setting the lowest possible fp by searching the point where the fp on the gauge starts to rise with vac hose of stock fpr connected and vac hose of Cartech disconnected and then turn the screw a quarter round back.
As I said it is about 42 psi.
Max fp is 75 psi. I cannot get higher than that because my fuel pump is too restrictive. (I am currently waiting for a Walbro from Jim)
The thing is that yesterday I tried turning the needle valve all the way iand the all the way out, but NO difference was showed on the a/f gauge (at WOT before VTEC constantly at the second green led, in VTEC last two brown leds), nor on the butt dyno. Now I set it at half way screwed it in.
Do you have any suggestions how this comes?
BTW, what are your fp settings with this kind of setup?
